Charter School Law empowers citizens by giving them the opportunity to provide quality educational choices to the children of their communities. To access this opportunity, individuals must form governing organizations, write an approvable charter school application, create a public school, and transform that school into a successful business and educational concern while simultaneously navigating the bureaucratic demands of the state and federal departments of education. The eventual success of a charter school rests with the ability of its leaders to access, interpret, and implement the information that already exists in the charter school world while operating in an often unsupportive and intense environment.
