3. Our Mission

The League's mission is to promote the expansion of the charter school concept and to aid charter schools in transferring existing expertise into solutions for their individual charter schools.

Charter School Law empowers citizens by giving them the opportunity to provide quality educational choices to the children of their communities. To access this opportunity, individuals must form governing organizations, write an approvable charter school application, create a public school, and transform that school into a successful business and educational concern while simultaneously navigating the bureaucratic demands of the state and federal departments of education. The eventual success of a charter school rests with the ability of its leaders to access, interpret, and implement the information that already exists in the charter school world while operating in an often unsupportive and intense environment. The League aids charter schools in transferring the existing expertise and knowledge into solutions for their individual charter schools. Our BY LAWS
